A shoplifting suspect sought by Barnegat Township police is clearly visible in surveillance images furnished by the convenience store where it took place. Now, investigators hope to catch him as well, with your help.

The incident occurred August 6, at about 11:40 PM, in the Wawa on Route 9 in the township. Police did not disclose what was taken.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 30 years of age, about 6'0" in height. He wore a dark baseall cap, a black-and-red "Diamond" brand long-sleeved tee shirt, khaki pants and sneakers. Police added that he might have left in a dark-colored sedan.
