Bake Sale in Toms River to Raise Money for Local Homeless Animals

All money raised by Volunteer Auxiliary for Animal Shelters, Inc. goes straight to the animals of Ocean County. I had no idea about this wonderful organization until my friend and co-worker Nicole told me about it.

The Volunteer Auxiliary's main purpose is to make life sweeter for the homeless pets in Ocean County. Their mission is to increase adoptions and decrease euthanization at the Northern Ocean County Animal Shelter in Jackson. Their off-site center is at PetSmart in Toms River and their mobile adoption unit.

The bake sale this Saturday March 31st, 2018 is a "HUGE" money raising effort for the furbabies. If you can donate any baked goods, that would be fantastic. Businesses can get involved also by donating baked goods. It's a great way for the community to come together and raise money for these precious animals.
