Atlantic City Murder Suspect Hears Charges

The Mays Landing 25-year-old accused of shooting an Atlantic City man in cold blood as he sat on a porch in July formally hears charges against him today.

Joshua M. Cross faces counts of murder and conspiracy in the death of Sedrick Lindo, 25.

Authorities believe Cross pumped several bullets into Lindo while the victim was outside the Carver Hill apartment complex on South Carolina Avenue.

Atlantic County authorities had held Cross in the county justice facility on driving violations until filing charges last night.

Cross appears today in the courtroom of Judge Bernard DeLury, who set bail at $1,000,000 full cash.
