Atlantic City's boardwalk will soon be home to a 16,000-square-foot retail establishment. BET Investments, Inc. breaks ground on the project this week between Tropicana and Trump Plaza.

The land, adjacent to Historic Boardwalk Hall's West Hall, most recently housed Trump World's Fair, which closed nearly 15 years ago.

"The investment in this retail project is proof that Atlantic City is open for business and will be a welcome addition to this section of the boardwalk," said John Palmieri, executive director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority.

No retail tenants have been announced yet.
