“Ask the Senator” Premieres with Senator Sam Thompson

"Ask the Senator" premiered on WOBM-AM Newstalk 1160 and 1310 on Wednesday with a visit from State Senator Sam Thompson (R-12).

The Republican, whose district covers parts of Ocean, Monmouth, Middlesex, and Burlington Counties, addressed a variety of topics, including:

• Expanding casino gambling outside Atlantic City
• Refunding the Transportation Trust Fund with a gas tax hike
• Concerns about the state budget and the Public Workers' Pension Fund
• What it's like to be a Republican in a mostly Democratic state
