Have you heard about the movement encouraging reporters to ask actors deeper, more relevant questions than just "who are you wearing?"  Reese Witherspoon has been vocally promoting the Twitter campaign #AskHerMore and it seems many people, inside Hollywood and out, are supporting it.

Before last night's Academy Awards, Witherspoon posted a list of questions she thinks are more interesting such as:   "What's the biggest risk you've taken that you feel has paid off?  What accomplishment are you most proud of?  What causes do you care about?"  The actor acknowledges that she enjoys fashion as most people do, but she hopes this online campaign will shift the focus off of clothing, makeup, hair, and jewelry.

Although television offers hours of appearance-oriented coverage before each awards show and countless recaps afterwards, it would be nice to see the media inquiries and discussion go deeper than how the actors look.  Do you agree?  Or do you like all the fashion coverage, including the ManiCam (that gives close up views of manicured nails.)?  Let us know in the Comments below.
