The suspect who stabbed a Neptune Township 19-year-old to death in Asbury Park Monday night remains on the loose. City and Monmouth County investigators are on the lookout for potential leads through phone tips.

Prize R. Johnson was found inside an apartment in the Washington Village complex, according to investigators under acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Grammiccioni.

Asbury Park police responded to a 911 caller at 9:58 PM who reported a stabbing on Ridge Avenue, then found Johnson in the dwelling on Washington Avenue, where lifesaving efforts failed, authorities said. Johnson was pronounced dead at 10:29 PM.
