A routine police stop concerning unsecured scrap metal in a pickup truck Saturday morning leads to the arrest of an Asbury Park man. Police from Monmouth's Ocean Township say further investigation determined that the scrap metal, being transported by 30-year-old Paul Addonizio, was stolen from the Cedar Village retirement community.

Addonizio was charged with one count of theft of moveable property and one count of criminal trespass. He was released on a complaint summons pending a future court hearing.
