Arrest Made in Bus Stop Robberies

A Manchester man was arrested Friday after police say he robbed and assaulted two middle school students at their school bus stops.

On the police department's Facebook page, detectives credited tips from the public with leading them to Sage Kenny, 18, of Pine Acres Manor. Officers say a search of Kenny's home turned up a cell phone that was stolen during one of the incidents as well as the clothing the suspect was seen wearing in surveillance video.

Kenny was charged with robbery, theft, attempted theft, and simple assault. He was being held at the Ocean County Jail on $75,000 bail with no 10% option.
