A man was stabbed and another was held at gunpoint in Lakewood reportedly in two separate incidents just moments apart Thursday night.

The Lakewood Scoop reports a food delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint near Hackett Street around 10 p.m., but was able to speed away and call police. Shortly after, police said a man was stabbed multiple times on Laurel Avenue.

 

When police arrived, officers found a 66-year-old resident outside the home with serious stab wounds to his upper back, arm and hand, according to the Ocean County Police, Fire and EMS Facebook page. The victim said he had been attacked by a fellow housemate.

61-yearold Albert Thompson was arrested and chared with aggravated assault.
