Armed robber being sought following shoot-out with police in Eatontown

An armed suspect remains at large after a robbery at the Alltown Pharmacy on Wycoff Road Tuesday night, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office.

Reports indicate there was an exchange of gunfire with police. No injuries were reported.

The hold up happened around 7 p.m. at the pharmacy, near the Monmouth Mall.

When officers confronted the suspect at the scene, he reportedly fired at them while escaping. The man got away in a car. It's unknown what the robber stole.

The investigation is ongoing by Eatontown Police and the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office.
