The beach replenishment project is now complete in Seaside Heights
It's bigger and better, that's what officials are saying in Seaside Heights. The beach replenishment project to extend the Heights' beaches is now complete and it will give beach-goers a lot more sand to enjoy this spring and summer.
According to a recent Shorebeat report .... The dunes now rise 18-feet from the ground, with the beach at least 200-feet in width.
The report also cites there have also been protective barriers built in front of the pylons that support the popular Sky Ride overlooking the oceanfront.
This move by the town should make this summer more comfy and spacious for everyone!
