As summer comes to an end, the kids go back to school, and most of us get back to our normal work routines, the snooze button on the alarm clock looks more and more tempting in the morning.

Personally, I'm not a snoozer. I've always had a pretty good body clock and I tend to wake up naturally before my alarm goes off. I'm also the type who sets my alarm for the latest I can get up and still be on time. So if my alarm goes off, I know I have to get up.

But I have some friends who use a couple of different techniques:

There's the snoozer - the people who like to wake up in nine minute increments over the course of 45 minutes or so.

There's the multiple alarm crowd - the people who will set alarms for every 10 minutes for the better part of an hour.

And then the hardcore people who do both.

I came to the realization a long time ago that when it's time to get up, I'm best when I just get up. If I stay in bed and snooze, I'll never get up. If I know that I have 30-45 minutes of flexibility, I'd just as soon plan for that extra sleep and just get up when I need to be up.

So where do you fall? Do you hit the snooze button much in the morning?
