Anti-Drug Lecturer Arrested for Sexting Juvenile

An Asbury Park man who gave an anti-drug lecture at an Ocean County High School has been arrested for allegedly sending nude pictures to an underage female student.

Police searched the residence belonging to William Egan, 27, after the student reported the images to authorities in Beachwood. Officers say the search turned up digital evidence as well as amphetamines and anabolic steroids.

Egan is charged with 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Obscenities to Persons Under 18 as well as 2 counts of 3rd degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance. He is also barred from having any contact with the alleged victim. Bail was set at $50,000 with no 10% option.
