Here in Ocean County, we're used to Summer visitors. And this Summer, we had some unique ones. They didn't really do much traveling, but they hung around Toms River since early May.

Of course, I'm talking about artist Seward Johnson's lifelike statues that have been visiting the downtown Toms River area for 4 months.

Well, today, like the human Summer shore visitors, they boarded everything up for the season and got ready to head back home.

It was a fun exhibit (even if there was a minor problem or two that popped up). It will definitely be a little weird not to see the window washer outside of Mean Bean on Main Street or the business men reading their daily paper on Robbins Street anymore.

Will you miss the statues? Which were your favorites? Comment below and let us know!
