For the second time in less than a week, Ocean County sees another bank robbery, this time in Brick Township.

Brick Police confirm the TD Bank on Burnt Tavern Road was held around 7 p.m. on Thursday night.

According to the Brick Township Police Department, it happened around 7:00 p.m. Surveillance video shows the suspect as a white male, approximately 5'2, most likely 40 years of age, acne with scarring on his face, last seen wearing a brown/gray windbreaker, jeans, running shoes, wearing a large brown wig and sun glasses. He told the teller to put the money in the bag and no one would get hurt.

The search by police units ended with negative results. The Brick Police K-9 Unit, the Brick Police Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Brick Police Detective Bureau also responded to help with the investigation. The robbery is being investigated by Detective Thomas Cooney of the Brick Township Police Detective Bureau. This comes days after the Chase Bank branch in Toms River was held up at gun point on Election Night. That suspect is still at large.
