Township police say that Shylon Stewart, 30, of Trenton, refused medical attention and insisted that she wasn't hurt after her 2007 Nissan hit the building between two support columns at 11:36 AM.

According to police, she explained that she was parking in the lot fronting Brick Boulevard, about to step on the brake pedal, when her high heels became wedged in the accelerator.

Brick Township's building inspector deemed the structure safe, police said, and business resumed around 1:30 PM.

A team from Station 22 of the Pioneer Hose Company assisted along with staffers of the Brick PD Emergency Medical Services.
