Could Amazon Be Bringing A Headquarters To Our Area?

Could the world's largest online retailer be putting down roots in the Shore area with a new headquarters in Monmouth County?

According to numerous reports, including this one in the Asbury Park Press, Fort Monmouth is not only making a major play for the Internet retail giant, but is likely the Garden State's best option to bring the company, and the thousands of jobs that it would create, to our neighborhood.

With over half a dozen facilities already in New Jersey, and more planned according to reports, Monmouth County would definitely be a logical compliment to their original HQ in Seattle.

A number of other states are also trying to woo Amazon, and the deadline for proposals is less than a month away, on October 19th.
