According to the Asbury Park Press, Police Chief Mark Kinmon has reportedly dismissed the criticism saying that it's not so unusual to address parking-related issues when parking is so limited.

He hasn't addressed criticism from the Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor who accuses the police for not being aggressive enough when it comes to preventing the gun violence that has plagued the city since the beginning of the year.

Asbury Park has reportedly made $2 million in parking revenue in 2012 and over $600,000 since June of this year.
