It's International Day of the Girl.  The United Nations and Unicef are involved in efforts to help girls grow up safe and healthy and educated.  The theme this year is "A Skilled GirlForce," to give young girls the education and support they need to succeed in the workforce.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on raising young girls at the Jersey Shore today.  What's one piece of advice that helped you succeed in the workforce?  What wisdom have you shared with the young females in your life?

And since "screen time" is a big part of most kids' days, what's a TV show or movie that you think is GOOD for them to watch?  Is there a TED Talk or some other video that shares an important message for girls?
