Adorable Babies That Went Viral Have An Ocean County Connection

There are a lot of people online these days who call themselves "social media influencers", and while we can debate all day long what that even means, I'd say that it's hard to argue against Ellen DeGeneres being a true online taste maker.

When something is shared on her Facebook page it's almost guaranteed to go viral, and that's exactly what happened to two adorable kids whose roots come back to right here in Ocean County!

First, here's the adorable video that's been viewed over 7.5 million times since just last Thursday (and that's only as of this writing!):

According to The Daily Mail, 18-month-old Henley has just been introduced to her newborn baby sister, Peyton, and she's already playing the protective older sister.

Adorable, right?

It all took place in a Pennsylvania hospital, but my colleague Varacchi on 105.7 The Hawk took one look and knew that he recognized mom, Ashley, who he worked with years ago as concession stand co-workers at FirstEnergy Park, home of the Lakewood BlueClaws!

As Varacchi reported, the family shared the video to Ellen's Facebook page where it caught fire and has since been shared around the world.

It's pretty cool to see something so popular have a connection to our home here at the Jersey Shore!
