I like Adele. A lot. Musically, I think she's one of the most talented singers right now. She's got a pure voice that doesn't need a ton of studio wizardry to make her sound good. After last night, I also think she's completely charming.

In an industry where stars wear more jewelry than a Jared clearance sale, Adele comes across as a middle class, down to earth everywoman. She doesn't have the "perfect" runway model body, and she speaks with a Cockney North London accent. If you didn't get a chance to check out her candid 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper before the Grammys last night, take a look now:

Again, I think she comes across as charming, good humored, and down to earth. For every award that she won last night, she truly seemed to be humble and grateful.

And hey, when was the last time an Album of the Year winner copped to having "a bit of snot" while accepting music's biggest prize?

In a day and age where it's hard to find role models in pop culture, I think Adele is one to root for.
