Abandoned Boat Spilling Oil Into Toms River

An abandoned cabin cruiser moored in the waters of the Toms River is believed to be leaking oil. An areal photographer took pictures showing the derelict vessel spilling the substance into the water according to the Ocean Signal.

The boat, which is believed to have originated from the Yacht Sales/Cedar Cove Marina, has been left abandoned between Mathis Avenue and Crabbe Point in South Toms River for nearly a year.

It has not been pumped or removed, South Toms River officials claim the boat sits outside of the borough boundary.
