Customers and family remember them with candles and flowers carted out from the store’s floral department according to WABC TV. The LoBrutto family was in attendance and was allowed to walk to the front of the supermarket where the windows are still blown out from Friday’s shooting.

“It’s amazing how many people showed up,” shopper Ron Guenther, who knew Breen, told the Star Ledger “Our bond is these victims.”

Customers at Pathmark have remembered LoBrutto & Breen by leaving flowers at a makeshift memorial outside the store according to the Star Ledger.

The store has been closed since Terrence S. Tyler opened fire on Friday morning, shooting 16 times. A Pathmark spokeswoman said Sunday that it was not known when the store might reopen. Crews have been inside the store cleaning and preparing the store to reopen. But many customers and employees say it will be tough to return. “I’ll never shop here again,” customer Sara Pierce told the Star Ledger. “Never.”

Assitant Manager Rolando Reyes, who is being called a hero for getting employees to the back of the store as Tyler entered the store, told WCBS TV he thought Tyler was on a break when he left the store. When he returned in full camaflage and weapons, “I started to run and that’s when I heard the shot behind me,” he said.“If me running into the store… alarmed people [of the] terror coming behind me I’m glad for that.”
