Jesse the dachshund had a bit of a sad story - his owners were moving and surrendered the 10 year old pup to the Jersey Shore Animal Center. Things weren't going well for Jesse, he wasn't eating and just seemed to be waiting for his owners to come back. Then, something amazing happened.

Dr. Adam Christman, who you've seen me talk about before as my dog's vet, posted a video with an emotional plea for Jesse, take a look:

Please help me & share! This 10 year old neutered SWEET dapple dachshund, Jesse, was relinquished to the shelter because his owners were "moving." He literally is very sad, not eating and waiting for his owners to come back. He is great with other dogs and cats and needs a second chance to give that amazing devotion he gave to his previous owners after 10 years. He is healthy and housebroken. I am even happy to do a complementary dental cleaning for his new owners! Please call the Jersey Shore Animal Center 732-920-1600. Thank you & hurry! Love, Dr. Christman & Jesse ❤️❤️

It's an amazing happy ending for Jesse.

As you know if you've followed my stories about my dog, Sydney, I'm a huge advocate for adopting adult pets. They have so much love to give and just need a nice home that can give that love back. Thankfully, it looks like Jesse found that perfect home.
