It was a nice evening in Toms River at the First United Methodist Church for the Annual Caregivers of Central Jersey Volunteers Recognition Dinner and Service. So many people who care to help others gathered to celebrate the work they do to help our Seniors here at the Shore. The Evening began with a perfect Inter-Faith Service with Religious leaders from many different Churches around the Jersey Shore. It was followed by a great Dinner.

The Keynote Speaker was Journalist Barbara Nevins Taylor .... who did a great job sharing her stories of care giving in her life ... It was a pleasure to hear her stories and relationship with care giving.

The 2014 CVCJ Collectible Bear Award went to Ocean County Senior Services Director Jane Maloney for all her years helping Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey. Congrats to Jane on a job well done. All in all it was a perfect night to honor those who give of themselves for others and I'm honored to be on the Board of CVCJ and look foward to many years of service ......
