A New Food Recall Hits New Jersey

You might remember the massive bottled water recall that impacted stores across the country, including New Jersey. Today, another multi-state recall alert was issued, and once again it includes us.

Just this morning, Dole announced a recall of bagged spinach that was sold in 13 states, including New Jersey.

The possibility of Salmonella is what the recall is focused on, although the company says that no illnesses have been reported.

If you have Dole bagged spinach in your fridge, check for the product code in the upper right corner of the package - products with the codes A27409B and A27409A are the ones on the recall list.

If you have the recalled products in your home, don't eat it, just throw it out.
