A Key Route 9 Shopping Center Is Expanding

In the ever expanding world of Route 9 through Lakewood and Howell, a shopping center right on the border is set to expand with an option to both expand and slim down your waistline.

The Greenleaf Shopping Center, which currently houses a BJ's Wholesale Club, XScape Theatres, and MattressFirm, among others, is adding to its roster.

The Asbury Park Press reports that the first addition will be an LA Fitness gym, which is currently under construction, and a Texas Roadhouse restaurant, which is still in the planning stages.

The LA Fitness is expected to start sweating this summer, with a target opening date of August 1st.

As of right now, the Texas Roadhouse hasn't started construction yet, but the article states that it's, "expected to open in the fourth quarter".
