So recently April introduced me to Kale! and recently Ive had it on sandwiches, salads, soups and as a snack!
So your wondering , OK a snack ? How …. just raw ? No, Baked! When you bake the leaves it makes kale chips. Its a crispy snack that’s tasty and healthy and great if your watching your diet.
Here’s a quick recipe ….
- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a non insulated cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- With a knife or kitchen shears carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner.
- Drizzle kale with a little olive oil and sprinkle with seasoning salt and/or pepper.
- Bake kale until the edges brown but are not burnt, 10 to 15 minutes.
