Millennium Radio Shore (WJLK-FM/WADB-AM/WOBM-FM/AM
WCHR-FM)
The purpose of this EEO Public File Report (“Report”)
is to comply with Section 73.2080(c) (6) of the FCC’s
EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station
Employment Unit that is comprised of the following Millennium
Radio Shore stations:
WADB (AM), Asbury Park, WJLK (FM), Asbury Park,
WOBM (AM), Lakewood Township,WOBM-FM, Toms River and WCHR-FM,
Manahawkin and is required to be placed in the public inspection
files of these stations, and posted on their websites.
The information contained in this Report covers the time period
beginning January 23, 2006 to and including January 26, 2007
(the “Applicable Period”).
The FCC’s EEO Rule requires that this Report contain
the following information:
1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station(s)
comprising the Station Employment Unit during the Applicable
Period;
2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment source(s) utilized
to fill the vacancy (including, if applicable, organizations
entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii)
of the new EEO Rule, which should be separately identified),
identified by name, address, contact person and telephone
number;
3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each
full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period;
4. Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed
for full-time vacancies during the Applicable Period and the
total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment
source utilized in connection with such vacancies; and
5. A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken
pursuant to Section 73.2080(c) (2) of the FCC rules.
Appendices 1, 2 and 3 which follow have been
designed, in the aggregate, to provide the required information.
Please note that the numbers listed on Appendix 2 under the
column entitled “Full-time Positions for Which This
Source Was Utilized” refer to the number of the full-time
job positions listed on Appendix 1.

NJBA [EEO1Source]: We often use the services
of the New Jersey Broadcaster Association’s ("NJBA’s")
EEO1Source to send notices of job openings to many referral
organizations. Attached are the listings
provided to us by the NJBA’s EEO1Source illustrating
the referral organizations/sources to which the NJBA’s
EEO1Source sent notices on our behalf for some of our full-time
openings.NJBA hasinformed us that the
attached list is substantially the same, but may not be
precisely the same, as the lists used by NJBA’s EEO1
Source when it notified organizations/sources of those full-time
positions for which we sought their help. Since no organization,
to our knowledge, notified us that they wanted to be notified
of our full-time openings, no organization has been designated
as such, either in this Report or in the attached list(s)
of organizations/sources contacted.

2006 Supplemental (Non-Vacancy Specific) Recruitment
Activities Undertaken
We have established a March-May internship program
with Ocean County Vocational/Technical Schools under the supervision
of Dolores Sheppard, Internship Coordinator, OCVTS-Lakehurst
Center. Four hour per week internships were provided in the
Programming, Production, and Engineering/IT departments.
We participated in the following programs sponsored
by educational institutions relating to career opportunities
in broadcasting. (Option x)

2006 Erik Van Ness Scholarship Award. Award
is granted annually at the New JerseyBroadcasters Association
in recognition of outstanding creativity in broadcast production.
In 2002, Erik Van Ness lost his life long battle with cystic
fibrosis. In Erik’s memory, Millennium Radio is proud
to sponsor this memorial scholarship in the hope of fostering
the kind of creativity and passion he inspired in us. The
yearly scholarship is in the amount of $2, 500.00 and will
be awarded to a New Jersey resident enrolled in an accredited
college or university students majoring in broadcast production
or related courses. The 2006 winner of The Erik Van Ness Scholarship
went to Lori Kaufman.
