NJ Transit's summer schedule during Penn Station repairs leaves no commuters out of the pain zone, but doesn't unduly overload any one line. North Jersey Coast Line passengers have minimal timetable changes, but Hoboken-bound riders will have to switch trains in Newark and Secaucus. The schedule stays in effect July 10 through September 1.
Mary Lee the shark, returning to her familiar spots off the Jersey coast on her way north, is dangerous, yet entertaining. Clinging jellyfish, spotted in the Shrewsbury River, are dangerous, and not entertaining at all. Their stings can cause muscle pain and weakness, and in extreme cases, kidney failure. They also found space in the waters off Manasquan in 2016.
