Three weeks after he left New Jersey for hiking and fishing in New Hampshire, Sierra Club Ocean County Director Greg Auriemma remains missing. New Hampshire Fish and Game authorities said they are scaling back their search of the White Mountains, which has included ground and aerial reconnaissance by their staffers, the New Hampshire National Guard, regional K9 teams and state police. Auriemma left New Jersey June 24. His gear was found unattended.

A 12-year-old girl becomes New Jersey's latest drowning fatality, pulled from the surf at Sandy Hook late Sunday afternoon and hanging on to life until Monday. She was with family members.
