A brick man is sentenced to 15-years in state prison for allegedly stabbing a woman at least six-times in the torso in march of 2015.

Christopher Dalzell had been charged with first degree attempted murder in the stabbing of a 50-year old woman at her cedar bridge avenue home.

She had been transported to the hospital for medical attention.

In the midst of what they’re calling a “blood shortage near crisis levels”, The Central Jersey Blood Center is asking all shore residents and visitors this summer to consider donating and help save a life.

Marketing manager Alyssa Drown says it’s near crisis levels because they’re not getting enough donors during the summer months.

“A lot of people are at the beach and on vacation and those type of things so they aren’t able to make into the donor centers or any of our mobile drive’s to be able to donate,” said Drown.

We have info on where you can donate at wobm.com.

As healthcare costs keep rising jersey hospitals continue to form partnerships with each other.
