Thunderstorms hit the shore tonight, with punishing winds. A small craft advisory runs through Tuesday, 8 PM, Manasquan to Little Egg Inlets. Forecasters expect sustained southerly winds to 25 knots, gusts to 30, with seas six to nine feet.
