Additionally, a small craft warning is in effect until midnight from Little Egg to Manasquan Inlets, with wind gusts to 25 knots and seas three to five feet. It's all gone by mid-Saturday, and the rest of the weekend promjses to be sunny, with temperatures in the mid-80s.
Marital discord led to the bludgeoning of Kimberly Dunphey, 48, and her son Owen Scott, 7, in Lacey Township this past Wednesday, say Ocean County investigators who labeled their deaths homicides by blunt force trauma. The husband, father, and presumed attacker, Gregg Scott, died in hospitalization of wounds that detectives suggest were self-inflicted.
