No, you're not crazy, you did indeed just feel an earthquake here in Ocean County.

The United States Geological Survey is reporting that an earthquake that initially registered as a 4.4 magnitude quake centered in Delaware shook a large part of the Eastern seaboard at 4:47pm.

The USGS has since downgraded the quake slightly, with an entry of 4.1.

I was sitting here doing my airshift as always and felt the whole room shake. No sooner was I on the USGS website than a friend at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst messaged me to ask if I felt it as well.

Dozens of people from across Ocean County have filed reports on the official USGS website to say that they felt the shaking. You can check out the latest data and submit your own report by clicking here.
