3 Indicted In Deadly Atlantic City Casino Carjack

Three Camden men charged in a fatal Atlantic City casino parking garage carjacking last year have been indicted on numerous charges, including felony murder and kidnapping.

Eighteen-year-old 20-year-old Eric Darden and 21-year-old Phillip Byrd allegedly accosted 28-year-old Sunil Rattu of Old Bridge and 24-year-old Radha Ghetia of Sayreville last September.

The couple was robbed and forced to drive to an alley where they were shot. Rattu died from two gunshot wounds to the head, while Ghetia survived two shots in the upper body.

The three also face murder, carjacking, armed robbery, aggravated assault and conspiracy charges in the indictment handed up Wednesday by an Atlantic County grand jury.

The fatal carjacking was the second in a little over a year that originated in the Taj Mahal parking garage
