When I was at the Summer in the Street festival in Downtown Toms River Saturday, I saw people of all ages.  There were activities for young kids including those run by the Toms River High school TEAM students.  Yoga 4 Kids led a breathing and movement demonstration for children.  And for the adults, there was plenty of live music to get everyones' toes tapping.

Many people stopped by the WOBM booth to fill out an entry blank for Lady Gaga tickets.  One thing I noticed was that there were a lot of multi-generational families strolling the streets together.  It really was a "something for everyone" affair so I'm not surprised people would bring their parents as well as their children.

I started reminiscing about the things that I used to do with my parents and my sister's kids.  Casino Pier comes to mind.  As does our cruise vacations.  Our three generations would also enjoy seeing family-friendly theatrical productions such as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

What are some things that you enjoying doing together with the older and younger people in your life?  Is there a place or activity that you all enjoy?   Please share in the Comments section.
