Approaching a full year since a bullet hit a Pemberton Police patrol car and narrowly missed the officer inside, the NJ Cop Shot Program posts a $20,000 reward for information leading to those who set off the chain of events.

The gunfire occurred at about 3:50 PM on September 24, 2014, in Pemberton's Sunbury Village section, authorities said.

The NJ Cop Shot Program is overseen by the New Jersey State Policemen's Benevolent Association. The reward will be given for information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the responsible individual, or individuals.
