The 200 Club of Monmouth County received a $3,500 grant from Investors Foundation at Deal Country Club on Wednesday December 12th during the monthly board meeting.

The grant will help the Club's mission of financially helping first responders and their families in Monmouth County after an injury or loss in the line of duty.

Kim Guadagno, 200 Club of Monmouth County President said, "We are profoundly grateful for the generosity of Investors Foundation. Supporting the law enforcement and first responders community is truly appreciated by the brave women and men who put their lives on the line for our safety and well-being each and every day."

"Each day, members of law enforcement and first responders act to protect the citizens of Monmouth County without thought for their own well-being." Investors Bank shares a sense of responsibility to these men and women- and their families. Although we hope they never need the assistance, we are proud to provide this grant for those who are seriously injured or who have paid the ultimate price for their bravery," said Investors Bank Chairman and CEO Kevin Cummings.

The 200 Club is hosting a "Holiday Giving" campaign on social media via #HolidayGiving. People can donate and/or join at www.monmouth200club.com.

The 200 Club of Monmouth County was founded by several Monmouth county philanthropists including Bill Wingard in 1987. Each pledged an annual donation of $200, to directly provide financial help families affected by loss or injury in the line of duty in Monmouth County including but not limited to: police officers, firefighters, first aid, and EMT technicians.

Investors Bank is headquartered in Short Hills and is a full-service community bank, serving customers since 1926. They created the Investors Foundation in 2005 to support the communities Investors Bank serves.
