Two people were seriously injured when a fire broke out at in a senior citizen community in southern New Jersey.

The Asbury Park Press eports that at least one victim was being treated at a burn center, but further details on the victims and their injuries were not disclosed.

It's not yet clear what caused the fast-moving fire, which broke out shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday in a unit at the Laurelton Gardens complex in Brick.

Authorities say four units overall sustained heavy fire damage.
