At least three more people died on New Jersey roadways on Sunday.

Two adults were killed Sunday afternoon on Buckshutem Road in Millville. according to 6 ABC, in what may have been a drag race with two cars a witness estimates were traveling at nearly 90 miles per hour.

"I witnessed two cars coming by here going really fast - they were like drag racing," said Don Gandy."One guy swerved to go around the other guy and he clipped the front of the one car...he lost control and plowed into the car in the woods."

Two children were also injured in the crash when one of the cars hit a third car that was stopped at a stop sign.

 A 20-year-old man was killed in an early-morning car wreck in New Providence on Sunday. Police say the driver was alone in a 2008 Nissan Altima when his car hit a curb, then crashed into a tree and turned over. The name of the man who was killed has not been released. Police say several people reported the crash after hearing it. But no one who saw it has been found.

On Saturday, an accident on the New Jersey Turnpike claimed the life of Princeton mathematician John Nash, 86, and his wife Alicia, 82.  The couple were passengers in a Ford Crown  Victoria traveling south from Newark Liberty Airport on the Turnpike in the car lanes near #8A (Jamesburg) on Saturday afternoon when the driver, Tarek Giris. 46, of Elizabeth,  lost control trying to pass another car, a Chrysler Concorde, and hit the guard rail.

State Police say the Nash’s appear to have not been wearing seat belts and were ejected from the rear of the car. State Police say both John and Alicia died at the scene.

A driver lost control and crashed into the woods along the southbound 42 Freeway in Gloucester Township around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening according to 6 ABC. The driver, the only occupant of the car, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, according to CBS Philly.

Police did not identify the 42 Freeway victim and investigations continue into both incidents.

Earlier on Saturday an accident on Route 35 southbound closed the road at Route 70 in Wall Township for an accident that took down a traffic signal. Newsworks reports multiple injuries in the accident which was closed for several hours as drivers had to find an alternate way into Point Pleasant.
