Unlike many of the other articles in this blog series, I have only been to Rainbow Diner in Brick once, but it definitely made a huge impression on me and I will be returning very soon!

Out of all of the diners that I have been to in my life, I can say that the staff is the friendliest at Rainbow Diner. I have always said that going to a diner isn’t always about the food, it’s about the atmosphere and the service. While they have a great atmosphere and amazing food (which I’ll get to) they have some of the nicest waiters and waitresses around.

Have you ever been to a place and dealt with a person that is going out of their way to be sarcastic or rude to you? I certainly have been, and you’re not going to get that at Rainbow Diner.

Now, on to the food. I feel like every week I use different adjectives to describe how great the food is because, in reality, it really IS that good! This week I am going to use the word delectable – because the food at Rainbow Diner is some of the best I ever had at a dinner here in Ocean County.

The menu is not to complex and it’s not pricey at all. When I went I got the hamburger (I know generic, right?) however, you can really tell how the rest of the diner’s food is by the hamburger. I will tell you, it was probably the best burger I ever had. I am a sucker for mushrooms on my burger and when they brought the burger out they went to town with the mushrooms. I have been to places that barely put any on when I ask, but Rainbow Diner really hooked me up.

If you are looking for a new place to dine this week during your lunchtime at work, the trip to Rainbow Diner on Route 70 is totally worth it.

HAPPY EATING!
